Monkeypox, also called MPOX, is a disease that attacks the skin, mainly affecting the palms and soles of the feet and manifests itself by:
The fever
Muscle pain
A fatigue
A widespread rash
To protect yourself from this disease, you must follow these measures:
Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use hydroalcoholic gel
Avoid contact with sick people, dead bodies or contaminated surfaces, as well as
Avoid handling or consuming meat from sick animals.
Avoid contact with rodents and monkeys
Wear gloves and other protective clothing when handling sick animals
Cook food thoroughly before eating it.
Consult a health center if you have fever and rash
Isolate infected patients
